If a specification, program status or factual statement is wrong or outdated, we correct it as soon as practical after verification. Material corrections should preserve the distinction between the previous claim and the verified replacement where that context matters.

Manufacturers and readers may flag errors, but corrections are based on evidence rather than commercial pressure.
